Scientists Develop Water Jet for Precise Surgery

Scientists Develop Water Jet for Precise Surgery Scientists have made a water jet system for surgery. This system helps make surgery more precise and reduces damage to the body. It uses a water jet to cut tissue and deliver local anaesthesia at the same time. * Experimental testing was done to see how well the system works. This included testing how well it cuts tissue and delivers anaesthesia. The results showed that the system works well. ### Water Jet Performance and Tissue Preservation The scientists tested settings for the water jet. They found that the best settings depended on the type of tissue. For muscle the best settings were 4 MPa and a 0.2 mm nozzle. For tissue the best settings were 8 MPa and a 0.2 mm nozzle. The water jet system caused damage than a conventional scalpel . It reduced muscle fibre breakage by 51%. It also decreased the damaged area by 35%. The system helped preserve up to 39.45 micrometres of tissue structure . ### Cutting Guided Anaesthetic Diffusi...

Liver Health

12-Week Exercise Programme Improves Patient Outcomes in Liver Disease Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease or MASLD is a liver condition. It is linked to health issues like diabetes and obesity . This condition causes much fat to build up in the liver, known as steatosis . Often it does not cause any symptoms. If left untreated MASLD can lead to liver damage or even cancer. By 2040 MASLD is expected to increase by than 55% in adults. So it is an important area of study. Resistance Training Helps with Metabolic Issues Researchers, led by Chen looked at studies to see how exercise, specifically resistance training affects people with MASLD. They found studies in databases that focused on resistance training for MASLD. To evaluate these studies they used a tool to check for bias and software for analysis. Exercise Lowers Liver Damage Markers Eleven studies with 395 participants were analysed. After resistance training the analysis showed that liver damage markers,...

The human body requires three types of dietary fiber which research has shown to be essential for optimal health. The main sources of dietary fiber include Fruits and Vegetables and Legumes which consist of Beans and Peas and Soybeans and Nuts and Seeds and Psyllium and Methyl Cellulose and Inulin and Prebiotin. Key Health Benefits of Fibre Insoluble fibre helps constipation prevention by adding bulk to stools during digestive processes, while soluble fibre supports easier digestion,Soluble fibre binds with cholesterol in the small intestine, which prevents cholesterol absorption and leads to decreased total and LDL cholesterol levels that help maintain blood pressure control.  Fibre slows down sugar absorption, which creates sugar spikes that raise type 2 diabetes risk by 30 percent,High-fibre foods provide better satiety because they create a feeling of fullness, which leads to decreased calorie consumption throughout the day.  The following list shows the main f...
